Murmliwasser

The 15,000 m² interactive Murmli Water Park, just below the Komperdell middle station in Serfaus is enchanting for the young and old. The Murmliwasser water park, filled with adventure and a variety of activities, was developed around a torrent. The central idea behind the park is to experience water. The Serfaus mascot, a marmot named "Murmli" will accompany you through the park on your adventure.

There are numerous play and adventure stations:

landslide hill, sphere tower, water stairs, suspension bridge and an adventure playground invite you to splash and play. In addition, there is a mud pool, clapper pump, sand play areas and skipping stones, a Murmli slide, a rock labyrinth, play houses and a Murmli lighthouse, at the base of which you will find a picnic area. Make dams and bypasses out of rocks to create a play area of your own. There is an integrated relaxation zone so that parents can enjoy time in a lawn chair as they watch their children play.

Highlights

  • Sphere Tower:
The sphere tower for climbing, sliding and "bowling". Wooden balls can be bowled upwards as well as downwards over 2 storeys. A tunnel slide brings along some extra action for the kids.
  • Murmli Rodeo:
Speed and skill are required to do the Murmli Rodeo sucessfully. The "hay sack run", "driving cows", "herbal sack shed" as well as "grilled sausage" guarantee fun for young and old.
  • Gold Panning Area:
A large number of wooden sluice boxes filled with water and sand contain little sparkly treasures that the children can sieve out like the prospectors of yore. Naturally, the young gold seekers are provided with the right equipment such as gold washing pans and ladles. Even small gem stomes can be discovered and – like all pieces – can be taken home by the treasure hunters. Seek and you shall find – promise!
  • Marmot Cave:
In the middle of a lake you can find a marmot cave. An elaborate system of caves with an astonishing length of 200 metres, provides an insight into the hidden world of the four-legged terrestrials. In the underground it is dark and so also in the marmot cave. If you are concerned to loose orientation while roaming through the tunnels you can give a sigh of relief because of the exits every 15 to 20 metres.
  • Marmot Enclosure:
Close to the Murmli Water there is also a marmot enclosure with real marmots. Young and old alike can watch some of them live. If you are lucky you can spot them relaxing, eating and even hear them whistling. A concert you should not miss.
  • Murmli Kiosk:
Parents can watch their children splashing and sploshing from the terrace of the Murmli Water kiosk in the comfortable relaxation zone, where you definitely do not get wet. The Murmli Kiosk provides for cool drinks or a snack in between.
